Antonio Blanco Museum, Ubud

I'm a big fan of anything that related to art and history. And it was such a pleasure to had a one day tour discovering Antonio Blanco museum in Ubud, Bali. Growing up with a huge desire to explore, Antonio then spent his time discovering the world, and ended up in Ubud. The tour guide told me how he just fell in love with Ubud and want to spend his entire life making artworks surrounded by rice paddy fields, and he did.

He built his own workspace and home in Ubud, married Ni Ronjo, a dancer who happened to be the subject of most his paintings. And what touched me the most is, his promises of not leaving Indonesia when he succeed as an artist and now he's leaving his legacy which is now well known as Antonio Blanco Museum. Be sure to visit this museum when you're around Ubud!
