Kampoeng Batik Laweyan, Solo

Sunday, August 25, 2013

Solo, this small city which has been on my mind lately is one of my favorite destination while wandering around Java. Beside all the dreamy nature scenery (pictures soon) which I experienced myself, this kind of small town surprisingly amazes me in a very good way.

I love seeing how peaceful people who lives in Solo especially in this Batik village called Kampoeng Batik Laweyan. They're so kind and have such manners I adore. Everyone is either working or riding their bicycle. Everything is moving slowly and the sun seems always there to help these people shine throughout the day. I'm so in love with everything in Solo and will definitely come back near in the future.

Thank you for dropping by lovely people! Have a peaceful weekend :)

Time & Place

Thursday, August 15, 2013

Hi! These are still some (random) pictures from my recent trip to Java last month through film. We try to understand our country a little bit more and somehow deeper. Any encounter we made during the trip had inspired me to see my life in a different ways. We woke up earlier in the morning to catch the sun rises, my long-time favourite train ride from one city to another, creepy restaurant atmosphere, and as simple as discovering new paths to walk on. Simplest pleasure that I could treasure whenever being around a good surroundings.

Honestly, I don't have much to say since my holidays have been quite packed with road trips these past few weeks. And as a bonus, I also just realised that I've been away from my computer as well which is so refreshing! (aside from that, I'm sorry for the late updates)

p s : Have you listened to Camera Obscura's newest album "Desire Lines" ? It's so good my ear hurts! See you in the next post and thank you for dropping by lovely people :)

Java Trip i, Madakaripura Waterfall

Sunday, August 4, 2013

Hi everyone! The Java trip is over and unfortunately I was being rushed with so many things after I got home. So I apologise for a really late updates here! Aside from that, it's Sunday and no one could disturb my me time hehe. Anyway, pictures above were taken from our first destination to Madakaripura Waterfall. And to be honest, I would love to mark this as one of the highlight of our trip. Oh mother nature, you never seemed to disappoint me!

I honestly still amazed by how natural everything was on that place! The path was quite easy until the moment before we stepped into the waterfall. Madakaripura is quite different compared to other waterfalls, because before you could possibly enjoy the natural beauty of Madakaripura in all forms, you should walk and literally being showered with the endless rain from the waterfall. Sorry but I couldn't find any better words to express the experience me and my fellow friends had there. The only thing I remember was we were so wet and such a mess afterwards. But overall, it was so fun!

I'm excited to reveal more pictures with you! Thank you for dropping by wonderful people :)
