Weekend Stories

Sunday, January 27, 2013

Kids these days mostly always glued to either their video games or tablets which is kind of sad to me. As the digital world has evolved, I think there's no enough genuine space for kids to explore their childhood around the mother nature. Other than that, I'm glad I found this huge field, it is near a bus station. On weekend it was packed with people especially kids, playing with their bicycle and having this unique tradition of bird racing in the evening.

My curiousity ended up to having a conversation with them. It's always great to meeting new people and sharing stories with them. Anyway, final exams are coming. Adios!
p s : the floods are getting better, thank you for those sweet comments on the previous post. but we need to always be aware since the weather is being quite unpredictable these past few weeks. thank you for dropping by!

These Days

Thursday, January 17, 2013

I decided to give myself a go for a morning stroll around the neighborhood. Unlike any other day, I started to organizing my room, found these lovely instax wide memories and ended up taking pictures instead. Anyway, it has been such a rough week in town ever since it's raining hard everyday. And today there are floods almost everywhere surrounds the town.

My thoughts and prayers goes out to those who are experiencing the damage. Hopefully, everything will be better as the time goes by! How's your 2013 so far? I would like to know :)

First of all, happy new year to everyone! Wishing all the greatest things to happen in 2013!

Earlier this year, one of my photo series "How are you kids?" got published on my favorite Indonesia-based travel magazine, jalanjalan (January 2013 issue). It has numerous number of great photographers like Muhammad Fadli & Putu Sayoga contributed earlier on their past issues. I feel so happy and blessed to get such an opportunity.

I think it's been truly a rough yet amazing year for me! Thank you so much for such an endless support from everyone towards this photoblog. All your feedback and comments means so much personally. More pictures are coming and have a wonderful day :)
